New for 2019, this year’s Congress features a full-day on Decarbonizing Material Movement – Towards Zero-Emissions Mine Fleets. Taking place December 4th, this day focuses on key developments in electrification, hydrogen, trolley assist and automation to decarbonize heavy-haulage vehicles and equipment, all of which must be powered by renewable energy to reach zero-emissions.

Using predictive matching software for mines and premium delegates we pre-select a set of meetings based on the types of people you’re interested in meeting. The Mining and Energy Speed-Networking Session takes place on the first day of the conference.

The 2019 Networking Exhibition includes a permanent cafe, a bar, pitch area, and bespoke networking areas. We have the New Technology Pavillion for smaller companies too.

Energy and Mines is at the forefront of the mining sector’s move towards low-carbon production and operations. Since 2010 our event series in Canada, South Africa, Chile, the UK, and Australia has created and supported a community of miners and energy professionals that are driving the shift to affordable, reliable, sustainable and low-carbon mining.
Energy and Mines has built a reputation in the mining and renewables sectors as the first point of contact for connection and information on renewables and alternative energy in mining, We have strong links with senior mining leaders, renewable energy developers and key players driving the technology, research, and development in this space.
Through our events and the Energy and Mines magazine, we aim is to help the mining sector shift towards a low-carbon economy and society. Our conferences and content provide global platforms for senior mining leaders and alternative energy and technology providers to build relationships and move towards affordable, reliable and low-carbon solutions for mines.
